3. Last Stand Of The Wreckers

This one isn’t easy to go over. It was as heart breaking, as it was thought provoking. There is so much depth and nuance to this arc, anyone wanting to get into the Transformers franchise would be a fool to overlook it.

The titular team of Autobots are sent in to deal with a prison take over at Garrus-9. Decepticons had invaded the facility. And who knew would devious plan they had in mind. As the battle unfolds, the usual good versus evil distinction that the franchise usual sticks by, starts to get blurred.

With each shot fired, the reality of war begins to sink in. The Wreckers find themselves grappling with the emotional burdens of war and no longer being able to see the line between the right and wrong.

This is especially true for Ironfist, whose dream of fighting alongside his heroes doesn’t quite live up to what he had hoped for. Genre-bending and steering clear of stereotypes, this is certainly a different addition to the Transformers taste palate
