Of course, some of these arent total pie-in-the-sky Nostradamus-style predictions. Some of them are just indisputable fact. Like the prediction that a whole bunch of titles are going to get cancelled in the New Year, thanks to anything from poor sales (the usual culprit) to creators signing deals with other publishers to the surprisingly refreshing revelation that some stories actually have endings. At least, hopefully at some point Matt Fraction and David Ajas run on Hawkeye will have an ending, with fans having waited a good half a year for it so far (especially with a new series by Jeff Lemire and Ramon Perez due to begin in March). Some of the titles on Marvels chopping block arent going to be surprising to anyone, with Michael del Mundos beautiful Elektra having not sold a peep and not long for this world. March, meanwhile, is culling month over at DC from the looks of it. Aquman and The Others, Batwoman, Green Lantern Corps, Green Lanterns: New Guardians, Infinity Man And The Forever People, Klarion, Red Lanterns, Secret Origins, Star Spangled War Stories Featuring G.I. Zombie, Swamp Thing, Trinity of Sin and Worlds Finest are all dead, with Gerry Duggans Arkham Manor being shortened to a mini-series thanks to editorial meddling or something.
