10 Comic Book Animals Who Should Be In A Movie

5. Titano

Superman fighting against a giant monster was a keystone of the comics in the 50's and 60's, as the nuclear-paranoid public was attracted to stories of this nature. It spoke to the fear that gripped them, allowing for an escape from their terror of the bomb. It's something that Superman: The Animated Series handled perhaps better than anyone in "The Prometheon", yet it's always been ignored on film. Well, now is the time to introduce the world to Titano, the Super-Ape. It would be loads of fun to see a Superman film with Titano, as it would add a sense of humor to the admittedly very somber vision of the Man of Steel that currently exists on film. If you think seeing Superman do battle against General Zod in an all-out brawl that levels Metropolis is cool, just imagine how much fun you'll have seeing Superman go toe-to-toe with this huge ape that can knock him for a loop. It's also worth pointing out that Titano can shoot Kryptonite laser beams from his eyes, which would make for some amazing visuals.
