3. Sentry (Marvel Comics)
Sentry is insanely powerful and, apart from his speed (which is still pretty damn quick), every single one of his powers is top tier in its category. Obviously he is super-strong. Strength-wise, he has ripped Ares - Marvel's god of war - clean in half. He has powered his way through the Crimson Bands a powerful magic restraining spell which the likes of the Hulk have failed to escape from and, with one hand, casually stopped a swing of Terrax's axe-wielding hands the same attack that has destroyed a planet before which is also a crazy feat of durability. On that note, in terms of durability, in addition to the casual blocking of the aforementioned planet-destroying attack, Sentry has managed to contain the energies of a Cosmic Cube - albeit briefly - in his hands. He is also durable enough to take a multi warhead nuclear missile straight-on and be unaffected. He has defeated the Molecule Man at his own game (matter manipulation) and, bearing in mind Molecule Man is a MASSIVELY powerful character, this is no mean feat. Regarding his energy-based powers, he has destroyed a planet with his energy flares, which can also be seen in the normal world whilst he is in a microverse, which is an INSANE feat of power. He also has vast psionic powers, which allowed him to make everyone on Earth forget about him for many years. So powerful is Sentry that he is said to have fought Galactus to a stalemate Galactus being the devourer of planets and a character capable of destroying galaxies - though that was never actually shown on panel. You have to be something else to come close to doing that, because simply being super-strong, for example, won't even come close to cutting it.
