10 Comic Book Characters Who Could Physically Manhandle The Hulk
3. Spawn
For those of you more familiar with the movie adaptation, we'd like to point out that Spawn in the comics has thrown an entire building, melted the gates of Heaven and destroyed whole armies of Hellspawn by himself. His power level has reached to god-like levels, literally allowing him the ability to rewrite realities at a whim. But even before he became the most powerful being in his universe, Spawn could still take the Hulk in a few rounds of mortal combat. His powers aren't based on his own rage but the energy of an entire dimension. Although early on he has to limit his use of them lest he be dragged down to Hell to lead its armies in a war that he wants no part of, Spawn eventually grows more and more capable and the strength that his suit imbues him with runs the gamut from around the level of Silver Surfer to around the level of Thanos and then far, far beyond. In the end, Spawn is the story of a man cursed with limitless potential power trying to figure out the best way to turn it all into a gift. And it's not out of the question that along the way he could manhandle a radioactive, anger-fueled beast from another dimension.

Give it a listen. Five minutes. Maybe you'll dig it. Maybe you'll hate it. But at least you'll have tried something new.
