10 Comic Book Heroes Definitely Stronger Than The Hulk
6. Jerry Craven
Warren Ellis's Supergod is typical Warren Ellis in some ways: aggressive deconstruction of old ideas and over-the-top reconstruction of same. Its most important concept is that if you work too hard to create superhumans, what you end up with are post-humans, beings that may once have been human but no longer think or act as humans do. Jerry Craven, American bionic super-soldier, was really only a hero by default-- he believed he was dead and in heaven, and was largely outclassed by the other, even less human superhumans in the series. But while the Hulk has created shockwaves by slamming his fists together, he's never punched someone so hard that the resulting shockwave is lethal to any humans within a mile's radius. Craven did that on his first try.
