9. Armoured Battle Suits
An armoured battlesuit, such as the type worn by Iron Man, War Machine or Steel, has been on my Christmas list every year since I was 10 years old. Alas, over the years, Ive slowly come to terms with the fact that they dont actually make them... Still, youd never believe it from the sheer amount of battlesuits worn in comic books. From Lex Luthors purple and green power suit, to New 52-era Batmans armoured costume, battlesuits appear to be all the rage in comicland. A typical comics battlesuit contains rocket boots for limited flight, projectile weaponry (or concussive laser blasts) in the gloves and the ability to give a nasty shock to anyone who grabs you from behind. These suits can also allow users to breathe underwater and withstand tremendous amounts of physical punishment. I dont know about you, but that all sounds good to me.
I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction.
