2. Hawkeye
Listen bro. If youre interested in watching a television show chock full of tracksuits, dogs who like pizza, and bros who say the word bro a lot, then an episodic series adapted from Matt Fractions quirky cult-fave Hawkeye should scratch that itch for you. Since the comic series launched in 2012, Hawkeye has been a surprise hit and a critical darling because of Fractions unique dialogue and the rotating art teams revolutionary visual style. But ultimately, its Hawkeyes very realistic take on its characters and its sense of humor that would make it a prime series for an hour-long serial television show that would ideally be part-sitcom and part-superhero action. Because the series focuses on what titular protagonist Clint Barton and the young Kate Bishop are doing when theyre not busy saving the world as part of the Avengers and Young Avengers respectively, a television adaptation could easily be done on a modest budget. Given Clints association with S.H.I.E.L.D., there would be ample opportunity to have crossover episodes with each of these shows, which would allow Marvel Studios to further connect its film and television universes. Marvel just has to make sure that whoever they hire to write the series is able to match Fractions rapid-fire patter and snarky sense of humor. Ya feel me bro?
