10 Comics To Make Haters Love Comics Again

Event Leviathan manages what many, many comics over the years have tried to do and have failed, in that it sets up a mystery that leaves you constantly reevaluating and second-guessing yourself, despite the fact that you could - if you were able to pick up the right clues - solve in the first couple of issues.

Better yet, the team who are tasked with solving this riddle are an unusual yet fantastic team, built out of a collection of DC's finest detectives, meaning you get a comic where the ever-famous Batman and the relatively obscure Kate Spencer share the limelight in fairly equal measure.

The one flaw of Event Leviathan is that, admittedly, the anticipation that it builds doesn't lead to a huge payoff in the series final issue - but everything prior does very much make up for that.
