10 Comics Villains Who Legit Reformed (And Never Turned Back)

2. Venom - Various Comics

Hawkeye Evil
Marvel Comics

It's perhaps unfair to explicitly label Venom a villain, as the alien creature is largely influenced by those it wears, meaning that it's more bloodthirsty moments are more the fault of any prior wearers than the symbiote itself.

This is why Venom's reformation is just as much about his hosts as it is him. The change from carnivorous scary alien to well-meaning liquid friend is initiated by two events; Flash Thompson's time wearing the symbiote, and Eddie Brock's reconciliation with the creature.

Between these positive influences, we see the Klyntar steadily become to understand the consequences of their actions, and begin to adjust accordingly.

This is made particularly interesting by the fact that Venom doesn't have one single defining moment of change - more a series of epiphanies that lead to him being the anti-hero we know and love (bad films and all) today.
