10 DC Villains More Powerful Than Superman

2. The Anti-Monitor

Anti-Monitor DC
DC Comics

The Anti-Monitor is one of the outright most powerful beings in DC Comics, period - which makes it all the worse that he's a villainous character.

Due somewhat to the universal adventures of Krona, the moment of creation itself was disrupted and two beings were made at that exact point - the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor. The Monitor was the main figure of power in the normal universe and the Anti-Matter was his evil counterpart in the anti-matter universe and, when he learned of the normal universe in which the Monitor resided, he wanted control of that too.

His presence in the normal universe was the cause of the Crisis on Infinite Earths event that cause the power scale to drop in the entire DC universe - he's that powerful. He possesses near limitless cosmic powers, can manipulate both matter and energy, can warp the very reality around him on a mass scale, can absorb energy on a universal scale and, of course, has superhuman strength and durability.

Superman is like a bug to him.
