7. Gog

Several characters in DC Comics have been called Gog, but the true Gog is a god who arose when William Matthews uncovered his form in the side of a mountain. Matthews had been calling himself Gog and had been determined to wipe out false gods but, after "the one true Gog" arose, Matthews stopped using the identity.

Somewhat inevitably, as a god Gog is incredibly powerful: able to reshape reality on a whim and used his powers to grant people their utmost desires. However, he caused pandemonium in doing this, because he did so without consulting them first (for example, he gave Doctor Mid-Nite his sight back, which deprived him of the superhuman senses he had developed whilst blind).

He also possesses superhuman physical abilities, the abilities of flight, energy manipulation, time manipulation, teleportation and countless other superpowers of an insanely high level.
