10 Dream Creative Teams To Reboot Batman

2. David F. Walker & Jamal Campbell

Luke Fox Batwing
DC Comics

A slightly less well-known pair compared to others on this list, Walker and Campbell would make one hell of a Batman book if only given the chance.

Walker is probably best known for two series: Luke Cage and Naomi. In both of these books, Walker's writing has been sorely overlooked, with the writer creating an exceptional balance of classic super-heroics along with tear-jerking family wholesomeness. This combination would brilliantly suit Batman, especially considering the loss the Bat-family recently suffered.

As for Campbell, well, his art is simply sublime.

Naomi's hopeful tone allowed for Campbell's bright beautiful colours to really shine, though that doesn't mean the artist is incapable of creating a darker atmosphere. His work on Nightwing, Green Arrow and Prowler proves as such. These books maintained Campbell's style, but were imbued with a slightly more down-to-Earth feel that suited the less fantastical atmosphere perfectly.

DC would really out-do themselves if they picked these two.
