4. Harley Quinn And The Birds Of Prey - Amanda Conner And Jimmy Palmiotti
It's been really exciting watching Harley's transformation from just being the 'Joker's Girlfriend' into an independent badass who can hold her own against pretty much anyone. That's why it's great to see Amanda Conner return for what is being called a no-holds-barred sequel to one of DC’s raciest runs, as if the first run was holding anything back.
We left Harley Quinn living a nice, Joker free life in Coney Island but as always, something brings her back to Gotham City once again. Naturally the Joker is not exactly pleased, sending every villain in the city after her, and there's only one team tough enough to help her.
Currently set to release alongside the upcoming Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) film, this book is guaranteed to fly off the shelves. Fans of the new DC Unlimited series will also be glad to know the 4 part mini-series is under the DC Black Label banner, so you can expect even more foul-mouthed insanity than usual.
