10 Former Justice League Members Who Need Another Call-Up

No, not that one. But an important aspect the main team is missing too.

The Justice League, at least the core team from the Watchtower at the moment, are not the most diverse of folks. While DC have made some efforts lately by adding more women (including Mera in Aquaman's place and Green Lantern Jessica Cruz) and more characters of colour (in Cyborg and Green Lantern Simon Baz), there is an element of social diversity that has rarely been seen in the main superhero team of the DC Universe: LGBTQ+ superheroes.

Tasmanian Devil is one of the few examples of gay heroes who have been members of the Justice League, and would make a welcome addition back on the team now. A more bestial powerset, another non-American hero (he's, as you probably guessed, Australian) and he's also an openly gay superhero.

Last seen as the boyfriend of another gay superhero, Extrano, in the Midnighter & Apollo series, it's time for Tasmanian Devil to return to the League for a longer stint, perhaps even as a permanent member.
