10 Incredibly Useful Superpowers Heroes Forgot They Had

2. Hydro-Man Can Drain The Life Out Of Somebody

He's not exactly a hero - in fact, he's usually a full-on supervillain - but Morris Bench is more than worthy of a mention on this list due to the fact that he has the rarely used ability to literally drain the life out of a person.

When thinking of Bench, aka the nefarious Hydro-Man, the first thoughts that come to mind are of somebody who can control the waters of the ocean or who can manipulate the everyday water found in households across the globe. One other thing that carries plenty of water, of course, is the human body.

It's been rarely addressed - bar the odd occasion from Hydro-Man himself - but this rogue has the ability to pull water from a person's body, essentially draining them to death. Considering that the average body is made up of 65% water, you can see just how easy it would be for Morris Bench to kill somebody in the blink of an eye or the click of a finger.

Bench has at times pulled out this most clinical of tricks, yet it makes no sense whatsoever for this ability to have not been showcased on a more regular basis by Hydro-Man.
