10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Spider-Man You Won't Believe Exist

1. Insane Turkish Spider-Man

Arts OnlineArts OnlineMan, we need to pick up our spirits a little after that. Where better to do that than in the copyright-ignoring, totally bananas world of bootleg Turkish cinema? A true cinematic gem that has been uncovered and disseminated thanks to the internet, 3 Dev Adam is a totally unauthorised seventies exploitation classic sees Captain America teaming up with Mexican luchador Santo to take down the villainous crime magnate Spider-Man, who wears an amazingly off-brand version of his official costume you can see just there. Yes, this film is just as incredible as you're imagining it to be. Maybe even more so. Set in Istanbul, Spider-Man and his Spider's Gang have begun a reign of terror across the city, circulating counterfeit United States dollars and killing anybody who gets in the way of their various other illegal activities. Over the course of the film - as Santo, Cap and his girlfriend Julia chase after him - this evil Spider-Man murders a good half dozen people, before being strangled to death himself by Captain America. Which is probably never gonna happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Surprise, though - there are actually four different Spider-Men, and they've only stopped one! A second Spider-Man scarpers after a stray bullet fired during a fight with the good guys hits his girlfriend and kills her, and then Santo and Captain America have to kill him and a couple of other evil, cackling webheads before they're finally rid of him. Except for the final scene in the film, where Cap glimpses that red webbed mask in the window of a car, chases after it and pulls the person out...to find it's a kid wearing a toy mask. Silly old Steve Rogers. That's a pretty basic rundown of what happens in 3 Dev Adam, but rest assured: it is much, much more bonkers than that. And it includes possibly the most insane and totally different version of Spider-Man we've ever laid eyes on. Yep, even more so than Italian Spiderman. That's how insane.
