6. The Crime Syndicate (Earth-3)
Hailing from Earth-3, the criminal version of Earth Prime's Justice League includes Ultraman, Superwoman, Owlman and Power Ring among other evil inversions of the heroes we know.
Although bested by the Justice League on many occasions, if we consider that the Justice League has defeated Darkseid numerous times, the Crime Syndicate is a real force to be reckoned with. Indeed in the New 52's Forever Evil event, they manage to take over the entire world, with the help of some Earth-1 villains.
Although they appeared first in 1964 as a fun-if-obvious way to find fairly matched villains to each member of the League, they've been fleshed out since then, with interesting origins, and the general mistrust among the team as a fun opposition to the loyalty of the Justice League.
Sadly, since the Fourth World of the New Gods exists outside of the multiverse, there is no 'good' version of Darkseid waiting in Earth-3 (Lightseid?), until literally any DC writer wants to do exactly that.
