10 Marvel Heroes GUARANTEED To Join The MCU
3. Namor
This list has contained a couple of characters whose existences have been teased, but none quite so blatant as Namor. The first clue as to his existence came all the way back in 2010, when, in Iron Man 2, we see a little blip on a world map in the background. We see seven blips, actually. One is in Wakanda, and one is smack-dab in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Then, in Endgame, Okoye mentioned something about an earthquake off the coast of Africa. Though the writers initially dismissed it as a non-tease, they recently confirmed that it was, in fact, intended to reference Atlantis.
It's telling that the first teases for both Atlantis and Wakanda came not just in the same film, but the same frame of the same scene. It's almost as if their cinematic destinies are intertwined. Namor and Black Panther have had a long, contentious history in the comics, so many fans have speculated that Namor could serve as the villain for the Black Panther sequel. That theory may well hold water (not unlike Atlantis... *ba dum tss*).
In addition to the Black Panther 2 rumors, there have been whispers that The Eternals will feature the fall of Atlantis, so one way or another, Namor is coming.
