10 Marvel Heroes GUARANTEED To Join The MCU

4. Nova

It's actually kind of surprising that Nova hasn't debuted already. The Nova Corps made their debut in Guardians of the Galaxy, but Richard Rider - the hero we know as Nova - has yet to pop up on screen. That may be set to change soon.

One of Marvel's premier cosmic heroes, Nova has aligned himself with other Marvel heroes on multiple occasions, including the Avengers, the New Warriors, the Defenders, the Secret Avengers, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. He's a prime candidate for any of these teams.

Marvel could even elect to make him a member of the Annihilators, should they ever grace our screens. The official roster of that team is Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer, Quasar, Gladiator, and Ronan the Accuser. Since Ronan is, well, indisposed, Nova could fill his space.

In the comics, Rhomann Dey - played by John C. Reilly in Guardians of the Galaxy - chose Rider to be his successor after the Nova Corps were wiped out. As mentioned by Thor in Infinity War, Xandar - home of the Corps - was decimated by Thanos. Perhaps that can be used to set up his MCU debut, with a flashback showing us what happened.
