Despotellis may be the deadliest member of the Sinestro Corps but Kryb has to be the most disturbing. You can't just be scary to join Sinestro's group; you need to turn scaremongering into an art form.
Kryb believed the most efficient way to instil fear was to attack the families of the Corps' greatest enemy, the Green Lanterns. She travels around the cosmos, killing Green Lanterns, kidnapping their children, and placing them inside a cage-like sack that's attached to her spine.
Looking at an alien with crying babies latched onto its back has to be one of the most disturbing images in all of DC Comics. Worse still, Green Lanterns have great difficulty attacking her because they have to avoid hurting the children in her back-pouch.
It's not just Kryb's modus operandi that's terrifying; it's the childish glee she experiences when she snatches kids that makes her unnerving. When she learned a Green Lantern called Amnee Pree was pregnant, she forced members of her Corps to pin her down so Kryb could deliver the baby. Kryb wanted to do this just so she could witness the expression on Amnee's face as she took away her newborn.
