7. He's Fought Deathstroke

Ever since his inception, Deadpool has had to deal with the tag of being just a knock-off of DC's one-eyed assassin. And though this is true to a degree, as the character has evolved, he's certainly outgrown the label of being a Deathstroke wannabe.

But what would happen if the two of them ever faced off? Well, it turns out that Wade would defeat Slade by pretty much talking him to death.

In 2006's Superman/Batman Annual #1, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent are taking a trip on a cruise boat. This relaxing vacation is soon interrupted by Deathstroke who has been hired to kill off the Dark Knight. He is joined in this endeavour by Ultraman and Owlman, who come through a portal and invade the ship.

But fear not, as another assassin has been sent to save Bruce from Slade's blade and it is, for all intents and purposes, Deadpool in Deathstroke's colors.

Though he is never mentioned by name, as each time he tries to introduce himself he gets cut off by someone either stabbing or shooting him, there is no doubting that the wisecracking ass kicker behind the mask is Wade Wilson, and the fact the book was done by Deadpool alumni Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness only strengthens this claim.
