Given Daredevil is categorically not the dumbest leader ever, it’s easy to understand why his time in the 2010 Shadowland series leading the Hand can be regarded as epic – even if it’s just about the most ruthless Daredevil has ever been shown to be.

While the Red Devil is basically a villain for the most of the comic, his commitment to trying to protect his home and the people within it at all costs does lead to a serious amount of badassery.
