10 Most Brutal Murders The Joker Has Ever Committed
6. Skinned Alive
It's probably about time that people stopped letting The Joker out of Arkham. It never works out the way they would like, and tends to cause more problems than it solves. Such is the case in Brian Azzarello's brilliant take on the Joker in 2008.
The story is told from the perspective of Jonny Frost, a low-level goon who offers to pick up the Clown Prince after his release. Frost immediately makes a good impression and the Joker keeps him as a personal chauffeur. The two travel around Gotham as the villain attempts to take back the city.
One of the first stops on their tour of destruction is the strip club currently ran by Monty, who has made quite a name for himself in the Joker's absence.
As the two are catching up, Harley Quinn walks in to start her shift which causes the Joker to see red. He invites Morty out back to discuss what happened while he was incarcerated and it clearly does not go well.
Not long after they head out, Morty stumbles out on to the stage on the verge of death. Joker had skinned him alive and put him on display for all to see, letting them know that he is back and in charge.
