10 Most Dangerous Spider-Man Villains

6. Sandman

Green Goblin
Marvel Comics

Sandman is one of the more interesting supervillains taking a spot on Spider-Man's rogues' gallery, as he's tried to go straight on more than one occasion. He's also ridiculously OP, but when he first started out, he was quite the opposite, as a small amount of water could take him out Wicked Witch of the East-style.

While he could be taken out by transforming him into a pile of mud, that only worked for so long before he could reconstitute himself, and forgetting about the one time Spidey beat him with a vacuum cleaner (yes, really), he's actually an upper-level villain.

He's gone toe-to-toe with the likes of Wonder Man and the Incredible Hulk, so he's got it where it counts in terms of power. He's also able to take a hit without really feeling it, and can either let his opponent's blows pass harmlessly through him, or he can enhance his density, making him near indestructible.

Sandman is also pretty close to being immortal, seeing as he is made up of millions of pieces of sand, and he can use the sand around him in the environment to rebuild his body. Seeing as there is no shortage of sand on the planet, there's not much of a chance Sandman can ever be taken out for good.
