10 Most Disturbing Comic Book Panels Of All Time

4. Homelander Eating A Baby

Disturbing Joker Panel
Dynamite Entertainment

Comic: The Boys #40

If your only interaction with The Boys comes from the television series, you may want to skip this part, as it describes events, which will likely show up in the forthcoming seasons... so, SPOILER ALERT!

In the comics, Homelander is the paragon of virtue, but he does a lot of horribly nasty things to people. As it's eventually revealed, it turns out Homelander wasn't the one doing those things; it was his identical clone, better known as Black Noir. He was created to keep an eye on Homelander, and would kill him and take his place were he to ever turn evil.

The only problem was, Homelander never did anything to necessitate his replacement, and it drove Black Noir completely, and utterly insane. He did a lot of horrific things in the books, but the ones in the panels listed here were truly the worst.

Though this panel was only one of six showing Homelander doing things beyond horrific, the one in the upper-left of the page is the worst; Homelander is eating an infant. The panelsdepict an event that occurred 20 years in the past, and they also represented the best leverage the Boys had against Homelander, whom they didn't realize was cloned.
