10 Most Evil Things Judge Dredd Has Ever Done

2. Causing Chaos Day

Dredd Worst Things
Rebellion

The fallout from the Apocalypse War continues to resonate throughout Judge Dredd comics even close to 40 years later. (Murdering millions of people will do that.)

Over the years survivors of East Meg One and its sister city East Meg Two have tried to avenge themselves against Dredd and his city countless times. Easily the most successful attempt was the Chaos Bug.

Featured in the story "Day of Chaos" in Progs 1743 to 1789, the story sees a former East Meg One colonel Yevgeny Borisenko unleash a deadly plague, the Chaos Bug, on Mega City One. The Bug has a 98% fatality rate and millions die. The resulting chaos sees the serial killer PJ Maybe escape prison, the genocidal Dark Judges being unleashed on the city, the Judges' surveillance centre in the Statue of Judgement being destroyed, and by the end 87% of the population are dead.

All because of Dredd's actions decades earlier.
