10 Most Heroic Things Doctor Doom Has Ever Done

8. Cured Molecule Man's Mental Blocks - Secret Wars 1984

One of the most fascinating villains in Marvel canon, bar none, is the Molecule Man. Mostly because the good Mr. Owen probably wouldn't even be a villain if he could help it. Which is good because his powers are HORRIFYING.

His title is not an exaggeration, the very building blocks of all matter are his playthings, with the only thing stopping him being a series of mental blocks he imposed on himself to keep him from going too far with his powers, as well as crippling insecurity and self loathing.

However, then the original Secret Wars came along, and we all know what shenanigans Doctor Doom gets up to in that story. After taking the powers of The Beyonder for his own, Doctor Doom ascends to almost godlike levels, becoming the most powerful he'd ever be until the remake of Secret Wars in 2015.

The first thing he does as the new all powerful Doom? He undoes the mental blocks plaguing Owen, because despite them being self imposed, Doom can see they've clearly done more harm than good for the poor man.
