10 Most Heroic Things Harley Quinn Has Ever Done

The most famous scene from the second Injustice game, and one of the most famous from the entire sub-series as a whole, is Harley finally confronting her trauma with the Joker.

When the Scarecrow hits her with a dose of fear toxin, we see the one thing Harley fears the most: the Joker returning and successfully getting his hooks back into her all over again. And he does just that at first, with the Joker using language that anyone who has ever unfortunately been in relationships like this will find traumatically familiar.

But through her own strength, she's able to power through and reject the vision and lay the smackdown on Scarecrow. But notably, she admits that the damage he did is still there. She admits that there is still some small part of her that still loves him. And she admits that that part of her will likely always be there. The Joker permanently scarred Harley, and that will never truly go away, but she IS doing better - resulting in one of the most mature story beats this author has ever seen in a superhero story.
