10 Most Heroic Things Harley Quinn Has Ever Done

5. Beats The Hell Out Of The Joker - Harley Quinn #25

Margot Robbie Suicide Squad
DC Comics

Like with punching Nazis and messing with hell, beating up the Joker is an objectively moral good that everyone can get behind. And no one deserves to lay the smackdown on the clown prince of crime more than his most famous victim, Harley.

During Amanda Connor's fantastic run on the character, Harley ditches the Joker and hooks up with a much better guy named Mason. But when Mason gets busted and thrown in Blackgate, Harley sets out to free him. There's just one problem: the neighbor to Mason's cell is the Clown Prince of Crime himself.

Harley, as you can imagine, proceeds to beat the ever loving hell out of Joker, reducing the madman to a bloody, pulpy mess on the floor. And yet she refuses to finish him off, since that's exactly what the Joker wants her to do. She even laments the fact that she couldn't bring herself to just walk past him and let that be the end of it. In the end, she leaves the Joker, cutting him off from her life for good.

It's a satisfying, yet still so very heartbreaking moment for one of DC's most complex heroines.
