Gotham Girl is an admittedly unique entry on this list due in most part to her being such a new character, but not for the reasons you might think.

In case you weren't familiar with her powers, Gotham Girl essentially has all the powers of Superman. But what makes her powers interesting is that using them drains her life, and she can increase her powers by sacrificing more of her life energy. Her brother, shortly before dying, maxed out his powers and defeated the Justice League singlehanded.

What makes her place on this list so unique, however, is that aforementioned drawback.

At the end of Tom King's Batman run, Batman finds a cure for Gotham Girl's situation, thereby allowing her to keep her powers without them killing her.

But that does raise a few questions; will she still die young because she used her powers so much before finding a cure? Can she still increase her powers by using up her life force?

If the cure does allow her to live a long life, and she can still increase her powers without them killing her, then Gotham Girl's place on this list will need to be elevated. But until we have those answers, being above Captain Atom is nothing to scoff at.
