This raises the question - what special adaptations would the most evolved human possess? Kraven the Hunter has found the answer. Written in 2019 by Nick Spencer and pencilled by Ryan Ottley and Alberto Jiménez Alburquerque, this issue sees Kraven hunting the High Evolutionary.

Before this fight, as with every foe, Kraven has done his homework. He already knows that the High Evolutionary is far too intelligent to blunder into a trap, and could likely guess Kraven's every tactic before he finished thinking of it. Instead, Kraven shows off his one advantage - wanton cruelty.

By brutally murdering several of the High Evolutionary's creations, a series of humanoid animal hybrids sometimes called Ani-Men, Kraven gets the High Evolutionary's attention.

Unfortunately, even the most evolved human has no resistance to grief - and, after seeing so many of his creations heartlessly gunned down, he eventually appears before Kraven, desperate to put an end to the fighting. Seeing that he has drawn out his prey at last, Kraven extorts the High Evolutionary into helping him pursue his goals.
