10 Most Ridiculously Overpowered Superheroes In The Marvel Universe

Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again
Marvel Comics

Despite being a parody of DC's Deathstroke, Deadpool still managed to be one of the most original characters to be introduced within the dark age of comics. What happened? Well, like many others he had hisyour cool status revved up so far it became almost unbearable and in the aftermath was given a display of power that - like Wolverine's - was just too much.

If you thought Wolverine's healing factor was astounding then you're sure to be blown away by what Deadpool has to show. Deadpool gets all of the normal benefits expected of an accelerated healing factor. He is immune to most toxins and diseases and has a retarded aging process which has been shown to allow him to be exactly the same eight-hundred years into the future.

Unlike Wolverine's healing factor, however, Deadpool can survive just about anything. He's been shown healing from gunshot and stab wounds, broken bones, and everything else that would be expected. He has also been shown to regrow entire limbs within a matter of hours. Wade Wilson has lost his head just as many times literally as he has metaphorically. By returning the dismembered head to his body he is able to reattach it with ease.

In his most incredible display yet Deadpool had his entire head smashed by the Hulk - and it grew back! Being able to survive a nuclear blast is one thing, but being able to completely reconstruct your entire head - including a new brain - is just far too much. We can't forget to mention that on top of this extreme power Deadpool is also a great combatant and skilled with just about every weapon imaginable.

He has been given technology that allows him to teleport, disguise his appearance, and travel at great speeds. Technology isn't enough for the merc with a mouth though as he also possesses a magic satchel. What would someone as powerful as Deadpool need magic for you might ask? Well, to store his unlimited supply of weaponry and ammunition of course!

So to review, we have a mercenary with incredible fighting and shooting skills with technology that allows him to move quickly and disguise himself, magic that bestows him with any weapon he chooses, and the ability to regenerate any wound, whole body part and/or organ, and survive just about any other type of attack. And now is a good time to mention that he's also almost completely immune to telepathic assault.

There's literally no way to beat Deadpool, and that is why he's completely overpowered. Maybe it's a good thing he's also too self-involved to realize just how much of a threat he is most of the time.
