2. Two-Face - Immunity To Poison Ivy's Toxins

Doctor Doom
DC

Two-Face is one of the most well-known villains of Batman's rogue gallery. Before he became a murderer, Harvey Dent was the best District Attorney in Gotham. After half his face was burned by acid, he developed a split-personality and became the monstrous mad man, Two-Face. Dent has outwitted Batman many times and has killed dozens of people over the years despite the fact he has no superpowers... or does he?

When Dent's origin was retold in the 1999 series, Batman: Dark Victory, there is a moment where Poison Ivy tries to seduce the scarred supervillain. Ivy secretes pheromones through her skin which causes men in her proximity to fall under her thrall. Her pheromones are so overpowering, she has managed to brainwash Superman with this ability. But in this issue, Dent is immune to Ivy's pheromones.

Realising she isn't getting her way, Ivy kisses Dent on the lips. Despite the fact Ivy's lips are filled with lethal toxins, it has no effect on Dent whatsoever.

There has never been an explanation why Dent can resist Poison Ivy's abilities. This is made more confusing since Two-Face isn't supposed to have any superpowers!
