10 Rare Comic Con Collectibles You Wish You Owned
4. Lego Captain Marvel & The Asis
Lego’s first exclusive at this year’s San Diego Comic Con looks like it will be a very popular one. The long running Lego Marvel Super Heroes series has featured as a Comic Con exclusive before, and has even spun off into video games.
This year, they’re focusing on the billion dollar grossing Captain Marvel and a variety of her supporting cast.
To run the numbers quickly, the item is Lego’s lot 77902 for the collectors out there, comes with 271 bricks and will set you back a fairly decent $45. At least, that’s what it’ll set you back if you’re heading to Comic Con. if you’re buying this online the week after, treble figures may be forecast.
As well as Captain Marvel in her greenish blue Kree colours, the set also includes the Asis ship, an Air Force styled Monica Rambeau and Goose, the loveable Flerken. It’s one of Lego’s more ambitious exclusives recently, and will be a massive treat for Carol Danvers fans at Comic Con.
For those not attending, her true Captain Marvel colours will be part of a helluva lot of Lego sets in the future, so a little bit of patience is all it takes.
