10 Rarest Comic Book Funko POP Figures (And How Much They're Worth)
4. Ghost Rider Freddy Funko (Metallic) - $3,390
We hope you're not sick of hearing about San Diego comic con, as this figure was - much like the prior Batman one - printed for 2013's convention, with twelve metallic variants sneaking their way into some lucky con-goers hands.
So, you ask, why does this figure run for a good thousand extra dollars than the black Batman suit, despite them being printed at the exact same time and in the exact same rarity? Well, there are two reasons.
The first is that the figure just looks cool, with the silver sheen and blank white eyes of the Rider adding something that seems just a little bit more badass than merely changing the colour on Batman's suit.
The second - as any collector will likely tell you - is sheerly luck and happenstance. When rare Funkos are bought, the price is largely decided on how many of these buyers are willing to sell their new prized possession, and crucially also how much they think the figure is worth - which can make for an interesting time in terms of what ends up being worth the big cash.
