What if The Punisher was a soccer mom? Sold!

The Silencer series, written by Dan Abnett and with art by the legendary John Romita Jr., will follow the DC Universe's greatest assassin that we have never heard of: Honor Guest.

A woman assassin who promises to be a challenge to Deathstroke, Deadshot and pretty much anyone in the DC Universe, she's a powerful metahuman who had been working stealthily for Leviathan and Talia Al Ghul for years... before getting out of the game to set up a typical, normal family in a typical suburban household.

When her old life comes crashing into her new world, Guest is forced to get back into the game again while protecting the life and family she has built for herself.

Sounding a bit like Mr. and Mrs. Smith or True Lies by way of The Punisher, this promises to be an action book with ties to the mainstream DC Universe, and maybe with that premise a little bit of tongue-in-cheek humour too.
