The panels at Flame Con were also diverse, but they pretty much all shared the same common themes: creating and enlarging community or improving the comics community at large.

Panels ranged from discussions on representation in the medium, the future of comics reporting, discussions on body positivity and mental health, and so very much more.

Looking not just at the simple aspects of LGBTQ+ representation in the comics medium, but also at the various intersections of gender identity, race, disability and more as they effect the community but also how the LGBTQ+ community can work at improving itself and its position in comics.

It was often informative, always enlightening and sometimes even a little tense, but every single panel felt vital; even those that felt fun and entertaining also felt very important.
