Back when Peter Parker was trying to score some cash, he tried everything from selling his webbing formula to designing a car. He took the gig since it was about the only option available at the time, though like many New Yorkers, Pete didn't know how to drive.

That wasn't really the problem since he also didn't know how to design a car, but he agreed to do so for Corona Motors, so he turned to his pal, Johnny Storm, for some help. The two worked together for a little while until they finally created the Spider-Mobile.

When Spidey first saw it, he declared it "a fiasco," and it was remarkably silly. On the surface, it was a weird-looking buggy, but it had more going on under the hood. It could climb up walls, and pull off some moderately useful Spidey stunts.

Pete hated the thing and instantly regretted getting involved, but like a good endorser, he ended up using it in a fight. Almost immediately, it ended up underwater, where it stayed for a long time. It made a comeback in the first Old Man Logan storyline when Hawkeye procured it for his and Logan's long drive across North America, but other than that, it's mostly relegated to the silliest bin of comic book history.
