10 Secrets Hidden In Famous Comics

4. The Secret Swears - Ka-Zar #1

Proving that sneaking rude words into comics is a pastime with significant history behind it, 1970s Ka-Zar #1 contains the f-bomb on the literal first issue of the series.

Hilariously, unlike the vast majority of times profanity is caught hiding in comics, Ka-Zar #1 wasn't edited or republished without the telltale swear, meaning that any copy you find nowadays will still look the exact same as it did on its initial release in the seventies, complete with its delightful little secret.

Although in actual fact, this is one secret that is so well known that this issue of the comic is sold with a note on its CGC label - which usually only contains the title, issue number, and grade of the comic book - that states it has hidden profanity on its cover, presumably just to make sure no unaware parent buys the book for their child.
