A lot of people wonder what it would be like if Stan Lee wrote a Batman story. When Stan heard that fans wanted him to do his own version of the Caped Crusader, he agreed. In his version, Batman is an African American called Wayne Williams. When Wayne was a young man, he was framed for killing his father. While Wayne was in prison, he became pretty nifty with a sewing machine, which he used to create a bat-themed costume. Wayne learns that he was framed by a criminal called Handz. As Wayne tracks him down, Handz accidentally fell to his death. Wayne decides to protect the city under the guise of Batman.

The story did so well, Stan created revised origins for other DC characters like Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman under the comic book line, Just Imagine.

Unsurprisingly, he created his own interpretation of Superman. In Stan’s version, Superman is a policeman called Salden on the planet, Krypton. Although all Kryptonians have superspeed and superstrength, Salden is the weakest on the police force. When Salden trapped a criminal in a teleportation device, the two of them were accidentally sent to a primitive planet called Earth. As Salden realized that his strength is far greater than any living thing on the planet, he decided to become a protector of Earth.
