10 Strangest Versions Of The Punisher
1. Franken-Castle
Punisher being a demon hunter wasn't the only time Frank took a supernatural turn, but unlike that run, Franken-Castle was actually pretty good.
During the Dark Reign event, Punisher had decided to go after the man who was fundamentally in charge of the world, Norman Osborn, better known as the Green Goblin. However, Punisher wasn't able to stop him, instead getting killed and sliced to pieces by Daken, Wolverine's son.
That wasn't the end of Frank though, as his pieces were collected and put back together by a society of monsters that lived underground, and he was revived as a giant Frankenstein monster. After a brief adjustment to this personal change, the society of monsters got attacked by an organization that was hunting them down, and Frank decided to defend his new monster friends. Er, allies? Let's go with associates.
Frank eventually went back to normal, because comics, but this was a fun run, and it's certainly a memorable time for the Punisher.
