10 Superheroes Who Are Way More Powerful Than You Think

After being bathed with a chemical mixture, Patrick O' Brian's body converted into a fluid-like state that was in-between liquid and solid. In scientific terms, Plastic Man's body became a non-Newtonian liquid. In unscientific terms, he became very gooey. This gives him complete control over his body, allowing him to stretch as thin as paper or as wide as a tennis court. He can become as small as a pear or as large as a skyscraper.

Because he is the comic relief, it's easy to underestimate Plastic Man. But there's more to him than meets the eye. Because of his viscous body, he can't be hurt conventionally. Bullets, punches, and knives have no effect on him. Also, the chemical that gave him his power stopped his cells from ageing, rendering him immortal.

Readers witnessed how truly powerful Plastic Man is when Martian Manhunter turned evil and took down the entire Justice League. Because Manhunter is psychic, he effortlessly defeated Superman and Batman and the rest of the Leaguers. However, since Plastic Man's brain isn't solid, he is immune to telepathy. As a result, Plastic Man defeated Manhunter when everyone else failed. If it wasn't for him, the entire world would have been destroyed.
