10 Superman Rip-Offs Who Are Stronger Than The Man Of Steel
4. Supreme
After Rob Liefield's Deathstroke rip-off, Deadpool, was a huge success, it was only a matter of time before he copied Superman. In 1992, Liefeld created the most powerful superhero in Image Comics, Supreme.
Born in 1925 as a regular human called Ethan Crane, he developed superpowers when exposed to a radioactive element called Supremium.
On top of having all of Superman's powers (flight, superstrength, freeze breath, heat vision, x-ray vision, etc,) Supreme can absorb energy, manipulate matter on an atomic level, control electronics, and resurrect himself. He also has the power to break the fourth wall, allowing him to speak directly to the reader.
He was originally depicted as an arrogant jerk, which turned off a lot of readers. When Alan Moore took over the series, he retooled the character so he resembled a Silver Age Superman.
Moore gave him more similarities to Superman by introducing Suprema, who is a homage to Supergirl and a super-dog called Radar, who is based on Krypto.
Suprema has astounding strength like her cousin and, at one point, lifted an entire universe by herself. As amazing as that sounds, Supreme is even stronger.
