10 Things Everyone Always Gets Wrong About Green Lantern

6. Only Green Lanterns Can Wield The Power Ring

Outside of Elseworld tales, there is a natural assumption that once a ring has chosen its wearer, no one else can use it. So naturally, here's a couple examples of when that idea was shattered.

Batman has, on numerous occasions, shown to be able to use his immense willpower to control a power ring. The most notable, or at least most heart-warming, is after Hal Jordan returned from the dead, and he decided to mend the troubled bridges between him and Bruce by letting the Dark Knight use his ring for a short period of time. There was also the time he stole Hal's ring just to prove he was better than him in the New 52 Justice League comic.

Green Arrow famously used the Green Ring during the Green Lantern: Rebirth miniseries to shoot an arrow construct at Sinestro to save Kyle Rayner's life after Hal Jordan had given into his fear. Finally, we have Harley Quinn, who took the ring from a knocked out Hal to save the Earth from an evil alien invasion in the Harley team-up series Little Black Book.
