10 Things Everyone Always Gets Wrong About Venom

5. Venom Is The Strongest Symbiote

Venom is the original symbiote, and therefore he must be the strongest, right? Wrong.

In fact, it isn't even one of Venom's offspring that are the strongest symbiote in Marvel lore, it is their de-facto grandson, Toxin. Toxin is the offspring of Carnage, who, in turn, is Venom's "child".

Venom is a powerhouse, and more than capable of holding their own against some of the most famous masked faces in Marvel's comics, yet, even in their solo movie, Venom is shown to have been bested by other symbiotes.

Most famously, Venom often has to team up with Spider-Man to battle Carnage, but Toxin is a different beast entirely. They have the same abilities as their predecessors, as well as even more impressive super-strength, speed, and the power to change their body parts into weapons - an ability given to Riot in Sony's movie.

Toxin also has more resistance to fire and sound, making them far more formidable than Venom, and the strongest symbiote.
