5. He Has A Knack Of Defeating Villains Who Should Be Far Too Powerful For Him
Black Panther's power level is essentially very comparable to that of the Super-Soldier Steve Rogers AKA Captain America. He has what is generally referred to as "comic book peak human" physical statistics (it should be noted to those not in the know that comic book peak humans far exceed real world peak humans in terms of their strength, speed and agility levels etc) and, just like Captain America (as well as a certain DC hero whose silhouette is very similar to Black Panther's and who regularly thwarts criminals in Gotham City), he regularly fights and defeats characters who he really has no right to be competing with. Black Panther has, for example, defeated villains as powerful as Mephisto and Doctor Doom and has, on his own, defeated the entire rosters of both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. He also once, quite ludicrously, had the Silver Surfer in a headlock that he couldn't get out of. Essentially, he's much bigger a threat than his relatively limited power-set would suggest.
