10 Things You Didn't Know About The Batcave

5. Some People Managed To Break In

Batman has protocols to prevent perpetrators from breaking into his headquarters. To make sure no one could teleport in, he had the Justice League's magician, Zatanna, conjure a supernatural barrier around the cave. Despite these precautions, a handful have managed to find Batman's elusive hideout including Two-Face, David Cain, Bane, The Court of Owls, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Since Donatello is a geek, he freaked out when he saw the Batcomputer.)

Rorschach (not the original, Walter Kovacs version) from the Watchmen series managed to break in. Batman was very upset to find Rorschach inside the Batcave (and for eating his pancakes). When Gotham's protector realised how unstable Rorschach was, he had him locked up in Arkham Asylum.

When DC and Marvel did a crossover, the Marvel supervillains, Bullseye and the Mole Man, found themselves transported to Batman's lair.

When the World's Greatest Detective discovered Joker's playing card in the cave, he realised that his arch-enemy had somehow broken in. Worst still, Joker left his card to let Batman know he was aware of his secret identity. Thankfully, Joker couldn't care less who was behind Batman's mask. Exposing Bruce Wayne's superhero lifestyle is not a concern for the Clown Prince, as it would simply ruin his fun.
