The main entrance to The Batcave is behind a grandfather clock in Wayne Manor. To gain access, one needs to set the clock to 10:47pm. This was the time that Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed.

Wait. If you broke the hands off the clock, you wouldn't be able to access his hideout, right? Luckily Batman thought of a way around this because he is freakin' Batman. If the hands don't work, the entrance can be opened by uttering the word “barmoral” near the clock.

Bruce Wayne had to devise other entrances to the Batcave just in case the area around the grandfather clock was blocked off or occupied by visitors. He can enter his HQ by hitting certain keys on a piano, pulling a certain book on the bookshelf, or by saying "chair" while sitting in his desk chair.

Probably the most famous entrance to the Batcave is the one used in the 1966 TV series, Batman. In the show, the two superheroes access their underground base by pressing a button hidden under a bust of William Shakespeare. Pressing the button reveals two poles behind a bookcase that lead directly to the subterranean lair.
