10. His Original Debut
The way Deadshot appears today is not only unmistakable but also intimidating. When he is in his full garb, he is a faceless bringer of death. Lawton appears cold and emotionless, with the only feature on his helmet being a marksmans monocle. Which makes his original appearance even funnier as Floyd Lawtons first appearance did not portray him as the undeniable badass that he truly is. Sporting a dapper suit complete with a bowtie, top hat, domino mask and six shooters, Deadshot looked like a rich white guy who bumped his head at a masquerade and woke up thinking that he was a cowboy. Deadshot initially debuted as a hero, dubbed The Man Who Replaced Batman, favouring his signature pistols to take down the criminals of Gotham. Although he never missed, he did not shoot to kill, aiming to wound criminals instead of erase them from existence. This speaks lengths about his undeniable talent as it would probably be harder to shoot at someone and not kill them than it would be to simply dispatch of them. I dont know this for certain but if anyone is willing to volunteer so that I can find out, you know where to find me. How could one of the most popular DC villains, a man who ranked number 43 on IGNs Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time, have begun as a hero and what happened to make him change his ways? Read on to find out.
